Project Description

The project GamificationEDU is implemented in a consortium of 5 partners of Romania (leader), Greece, Poland, Latvia and Bulgaria.

The main problem we identified as a consortium is the constantly changing interests and learning preferences of young people who have to be addressed by new solutions in our educational programmes/activities.

Budget Control and Time Management

Project Management

The financial legal issues are coordinated by the lead applicant, who will ensure that all members will meet the contractual obligations and financial requirements envisaged by the project.

All these provisions will be communicated from the very beginning of the project and will be listed in the extensive partnership agreement that will be signed at the first transnational meeting.

Nevertheless, the amounts and the conditions for pays will be discussed with the partners in a transparent and mutually agreed process.

As regards the financial coordination and the overall budget control we will put in place the following structure:

• Budget management and controlling

• Efficient interfacing with the NA project officer, including timely submission of deliverables.

• Regular communication and exchange with NA project officer (for financial issue)

• Legal representative

To ensure a proper budget management internal budget reviews will be set up on a six-monthly basis in addition to the official reports which have to be delivered to the NA. This offers the opportunity to every partner to have a better overview on its spending and the lead partner has an overview on the overall spending of the project.

Project and time management by project partners All project partners are responsible for the adequate running of the project and for delivering work as laid down in the contract and the consortium agreement.

This includes among others:

• Monitoring of and contributing to the project progress and success according to the work plan

• Securing that all deliverables are produced and delivered to the coordinator on time

• Respecting the additional internal budget reviews and deliver the required documents and information on time

Measuring the Quality of Project Results

In order to evaluate to which extent the project reached its results and objectives, we have decided among partners in the consortium to develop a Quality Assurance Plan (criteria and benchmarks).

The evaluation will be ongoing throughout project lifetime. The Steering Committee- senior members of the 5 organizations- will be set up at the beginning of the project.

The Evaluation Board will be responsible for the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the Quality Assurance Plan.

The main aspects of the project to be evaluated are:

a) transnationality – the success of transnational working and the effectiveness of partners’ contribution. This will be achieved through observation of meetings, questionnaires and focus groups. It will analyze not only the fulfillment of individual expectations of partners, but also the added value of the partnership at European level.

b) functionality of the partnership – the overall management and administration of the partnership and the prospect of future collaboration. This will be achieved through analysis of records and individual personal interviews. It will look at what the partnership achieved in comparison to the proposed plan, but also at possible conflicts that had appeared, ways in which they were solved, and at the chances of continuing the work.

c) dissemination and valorisation – whether the project experiences and outputs have reached a wide audience and have achieved multiplier effects through mainstreaming activities. This will be achieved through recorded data analysis and it will be both a quantitative and qualitative analysis.

d) quality and validity of outputs – whether the needs addressed have been met, and whether the products fulfill the quality criteria agreed at the beginning of the partnership’s work. This will be achieved through observation, questionnaires, and individual personal interviews with partners, group discussions and analysis of feedback from end users.

e) innovation – how genuinely new the products are and what their European added-value is.
